The "two miles" refers to the 40% of urban trips that are shorter than two miles (a ten-minute bicycle ride at an easy pace), a figure that Trek also trumpets in its <a href="http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/company/one_world_two_wheels/" rel="nofollow">One World, Two Wheels</a> materials.
