More of the exciting people I share the buses & trains with: a guy at State and Van Buren who threw a glass bottles onto the sidewalk. After a reprimand, he tore up papers and threw them at the passengers. And, at Southport station, a man wearing the infamously racist A&F t-shirt, carrying a bundle of “lucky bamboo.” Hm.

Neumann Homes, the newest suburban production builder to invade the city market, brought its tacky suburban marketing with it. And where exactly do they plan on building single-family homes around here, anyways? There aren’t any cornfields around, and their sales trailer is stuck in the middle of an industrial corridor.
